Tetris ZX — 48K / 128K
----------------------

Seven shapes. Endless possibilities.

The Game Boy classic comes to the ZX Spectrum 48K and 128K. Turn a crowded well into a clean sweep,
chase a new high score or face a friend with both boards on one screen.

Version 1.0.0 includes both editions, player instructions and a print-ready cassette inlay.

Version 1.1.0 brings colour graphics and a 128K colour/monochrome toggle.
The ZIP includes three editions, full player instructions and a print-ready cassette inlay.

Choose your edition

- 48K Colour v1.1.0: colour graphics with Spectrum beeper sound.
- 48K Mono v1.0.0: the preserved classic monochrome edition with beeper sound.
- 128K v1.1.0: colour and monochrome in one game, with AY music and effects.
Press Caps Shift + Symbol Shift together to switch display mode, then release both keys before switching again.

The 128K edition starts in colour. The toggle works on menus and during play; an in-game reset keeps your display choice.
Both players share the same display mode and one music track.

Three ways to play

- Game A: build your score as the falling speed rises.
- Game B: choose a level and starting height, then clear 25 lines.
- 2 Player: clear 30 lines or force your rival to the top. Clearing two, three or four rows together
sends one, two or four rows to the other board. First to five rounds wins.

Features

- Original block patterns, menus and level selection, in colour or classic monochrome.
- Local head-to-head play, high scores and name entry.
- Rocket and dancer endings, plus the faster heart-mode challenge.
- 48K beeper music in menus and game sequences, with gameplay sound effects.
- 128K AY music and effects, including danger music when either board gets too high.
- Keyboard, Sinclair joystick ports and Kempston support.
